Ik had slechts ruimte voor drie nieuwe binnenkomers. En dat betekent dat ik deze week veel moest laten afvallen, uiteindelijk.

En wat er dan overblijft is absolute top, die ongetwijfeld ook nog verder gaan stijgen. Ilse de Lange en Waylon wisten een mooie wat opgevoerde versie van The Farmer's daughter van Fleetwood Mac geheel nieuw leven in the blazen. Prachtig gedaan en een klein pareltje dat we overhouden aan het Songfestival van dit jaar. De notering is een klein compliment maar ik sluit een langer verblijf niet uit.

Verder hebben de Struts uiteraard ook een geweldige single gemaakt. Nu nog bescheiden op 24 maar dat gaat natuurlijk verder omhoog.

Het beste nummer dat ik deze week heb gehoord is van Catfish and the Bottlemen. Kathleen is prachtige Indie, niet te versmaden en blijft ook lekker lang in je hoofd zitten.

Vind het nog steeds jammer dat Could Have Been Me vorig jaar hier niet is opgepakt. Heeft toch lang genoeg in mijn top 15 staan

Ik vind Kiss This toch beter, de band is wat mij betreft in een jaar tijd wel gegroeid.
Een singalong refrein, vooral met meezingen van publiek, doet het bij mij over het algemeen niet zo best......
