Soms moet je even wennen aan een nieuwe band, een nieuwe sound. En inmiddels vind ik het Manchester orkest inmiddels al weer een stuk beter dan de 25e plaats. Maar het is helemaal niet erg nog even een weekje te groeien.

Verder niet zulke schokkende namen die binnen komen. Nieuwe singles zijn er voor de Rival Sons (nieuw album volgt), de Temples, Placebo en de laatste van The Strypes, een band waar ik voorlopig het alleenrecht op lijk te hebben in dit topic

Nieuwe single van Temples? Shelter Song is in het najaar van 2012 al in dit topic voorbij gekomen.

Manchester Orchestra is fijn ja, maar hun laatste single Cope is wellicht nog net iets lekkerder dan Top Notch.

Ja, toen zat ik hier nog niet, in 2012
Zou het nummer dan opnieuw zijn uitgebracht, het stond in België bij alle nieuwe tips? Ik denk er even over na anders haal ik hem weer weg.

Ik vond Top Notch van het Manchester Orchestra net even iets beter en ik wil geen twee singles tegelijk plaatsen. Dus ik volg DJ Frankie met liefde.
Ik zal Cope in mijn tiplijst voor over een paar weken zetten

Zou kunnen wat Temples betreft. Ik hoor wel vaker nummers op de radio voorbij komen bestempeld als nieuw, terwijl ze dat 2 jaar geleden ook al waren.

Top Notch is ook uit Februari maar helemaal gemist, naar aanleiding van een tip dit gaan luisteren en overweldigend, cope mag ook bij mij nog in de wachtkamer.

Eindelijk weer eens een week voor mij met best wel wat nieuwkomers. Lijstje komt er zo aan.

Een nieuwe eerste plaats! Blues Pills neemt hem voor zijn rekening met het fantastische High Class Woman, de meest frisse retrorocktrack in tijden! Ook komt de adembenemende technische death metal met atmosferische elementen van Fallujah binnen en laat Body Count horen hoe je metal en rap moet combineren. Septic Flesh keert met een van de beste tracks van het opkomende album genaamd Titan terug in de lijst.

- Cope: Ik ken Manchester Orchestra al enkele jaren (van voorprogramma's van Thrice in de U.S.A.) en deze is weer een sterke, energieke plaat (in tegenstellig tot het iets fletsere Top Notch)
- I Try To Talk To You (feat. John Grant: Ik geniet al sinds Werchter '07 (toen ze mij wegbliezen) van alles wat Hercules And Love Afair uitbrengen. Als daar nog eens de geweldige John Grant bij komt, is het gemakkelijk om in mijn lijst te geraken.
- Heart Beats Slow: Weer zo'n mooie van broer en zus Stone. Lekker melancholisch
- Heart On Fire: Nog geen plaat uit, maar op een dik jaar toch al veel heel leuke singletjes uitgebracht, waaronder deze. De jongedame is goed bezig binnen de electropop

Nee hopelijk alleen wat hardware problemen. Wellicht morgen alweer terug, met de tablet en iphone redden we ons ook wel eventjes.
