Tubeway Army viel bij mij buiten de top 20. Wel een leuke plaat maar niet echt een topper. Gary heeft trouwens wel een leuke feature in de de docu Planet Electro die vorige week vrijdag op TV was (sowieso een aanrader, zeker voor vigil want OMD heeft ook een flinke rol en verder gaat het van Wendy Carlos tot Cabaret Voltaire tot Chicago en Detroit). hier nog te bekijken: Kijk en luister op npo.nl

Dit was tenslotte mijn lijstje. Joy Division viel niet te vermijden, maar London Calling vind ik wel een beetje overschat. Beste van The Clash is Black Market Clash. Verder miste ik toch wel de disco, had eigenlijk wel verwacht dat Off the Wall moeiteloos de top 10 zou halen. En ik zie nu dat Taana Gardner maar 2 stemmen heeft op MuMe Toch wel een aanrader voor bv. west en GrafGantz.

Iig zaaf weer bedankt voor het hanteren van het telraam en de fijne achtergronden bij de albums!

De Larry Levan remixes van haar nummers zijn helemaal geweldig. Dit vind ik haar beste nummer, komt uit 1981. Eén van de beste disconummers die ik ken:
Taana Gardner - Heartbeat at Discogs (natuurlijk wel de 12-inch). Ken je die al?

En oh ja: je had per ongeluk Off The Wall op 19 gezet i.p.v. op 9.

Gelukkig: jij hebt deze klassiekers er ook instaan!

Ken jij meer muziek uit de disco scene eind jaren '70 / begin jaren '80? Zijn ook een paar mooie verzamelaars van. Als je ze wilt weten, kan ik je wel PM'en.

Ik ken wel meer, maar zal ongetwijfeld nog een hoop leuks missen. Dus tips zijn altijd welkom.
