Het zal me benieuwen.

BRETT ANDERSON has spoken about working with ex-SUEDE guitarist BERNARD BUTLER.
Following the band’s split, Anderson and Butler, who walked out of the group in 1994, reunited to start work on a new album. In a statement to fans, Anderson explained the progress so far.
He said: "Me and Bernard are back in a London studio putting the finishing touches on what is shaping up to be a truly special record. Usually by this point in making any album I go through a period of doubt about its quality but this time the songs are just getting better.
"My drive, direction and focus, which became clouded towards the end of my work with Suede, are all back with a vengeance and both me and Bernard are excited about being back in the game."
The album will be finished next month, with a release scheduled for the start of next year. The duo’s first live appearance with their new band will take place in December.
In addition, Anderson is also working on a solo album, described as "dark and melancholic".

Nieuws over een nieuw album van the flaming lips (bron: NME);
The Flaming lips have almost finished work on their new album, and have told fans to expect a more "organic" sound.
The album, recorded at producer Dave Fridmann's Tarbox Studios, will be the group’s first since 2002’s ‘Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots’.
Going by the working title of ‘At War With The Mystics’, the album has been scheduled for release mid-2005.
"We've moved away from robot sounds to sounds that are made by robots that come off organic," frontman Wayne Coyne explained to Blender magazine.
"It's getting into a space-age jazz element, a sort of progressive Dixieland, hopefully not too far out of the realm of what's listenable." He said he hopes the new record will keep the Lips "element of psychiatric injury".
Tracks expected to appear on the album are 'Space Bible' and 'Mr Ambulance Driver'.

Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler have named their new band The Tears and say the sessions have been as exciting as when they recorded the first Suede album.
Last week NME.COM were invited by the duo to a London studio where they’re mixing the final songs for The Tears’ as-yet-untitled debut album, which is due for release in the spring.
In their first interview together in a decade, Anderson and Butler told NME.COM that being back together had been "incredibly inspiring" - despite the fact that they had to patch up their relationship.
Anderson said: "It seemed like the time was right. I didn’t finish with Suede in order to give Bernard a call. It had to happen naturally, the band had to come to its natural termination. I felt that I’d written my best songs with Bernard."
Bernard added: "There’s only one purpose of doing (the new album), and that’s to make a great record. There’s no social ambitions, we don’t go bowling together!"
Brett continued: "The first thing we said when we got together was that we won’t release a note of music unless the album’s spectacular. That’s the most important thing about it. We could have written for three years and if the songs hadn’t been any good we wouldn’t have bothered getting to this stage with it.
"There’s a lot of people out there who are worried about us getting back together and tarnishing what we’ve done before. Then there’s that whole issue of ‘When they get back together are they going to live up to what they’ve done in the past?’ We don’t want that to be an issue so it has to be spectacular."

Op 21 februari komt Tori Amos met haar nieuwe cd The Beekeeper.
Tori Amos Readies New Album The Beekeeper
Acclaimed Artist to Publish First Book Entitled Tori Amos: Piece by Piece
NEW YORK, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- It has been over two years since musical force Tori Amos has brought new music to her ever-growing foundation of dedicated fans. On February 22nd Tori Amos will unveil two exciting projects- a new CD entitled The Beekeeper and her first book Tori Amos: Piece by Piece, co-written with journalist Ann Powers.
Currently, Tori is putting the finishing touches on The Beekeeper, which she's recording and self-producing in her UK studio Martian Engineering. On songs like "Sweet the Sting," "Sleeps with Butterflies," and "Ribbons Undone," Tori incorporates vintage organs, Afro-Cuban drums and Gospel choirs, working once again with longtime partners, drummer Matt Chamberlain and bassist Jon Evans.
Tori Amos explains, "The Beekeeper is musically inspired by the fact that the piano has realized that she has an organ. With my right hand on her organ and my left hand on her piano keys, I have been changed by the relationship between these two beautiful creatures, the Bosendorfer piano and the B3 Hammond organ."
In the book Tori Amos: Piece by Piece co-penned with writer Ann Powers, the usually private Tori gives a rare inside look into many intimacies of her life as both a private individual and a very public performing musician. The book, published by Broadway Books (a division of Random House), will be released on February 8th. On Thursday, February 24, Tori and Ann will make a special appearance at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.
Tori Amos, whose career skyrocketed with the release of the 1992 multi- platinum breakthrough Little Earthquakes, has led the charge in rejuvenating the era of the female singer songwriter. With worldwide record sales topping 12 million and multiple Grammy nominations, Tori continues to be one of the most intriguing and respected artists of our time.

Beck has revealed full details of his long-awaited new LP ‘Guero’.
The follow-up to 2002's ‘Sea Change’ will be released on March 21 and will feature 13 tracks. The title means 'white boy' in Spanish.
The LP has been produced by former collaborators The Dust Brothers and marks a return to the ‘classic’, funk-based Beck sound after the acoustic leanings of its predecessor. White Stripes mainman Jack White guest stars on the record, playing bass on 'Go It Alone'.
"It's pretty aggressive," Beck told Rolling Stone. "I've been working on it for a while, but I ended up doing 'Sea Change' first. I've been wanting to do a record with loud guitars for a long time."
