Eigenlijk had ik nog wat 4.5*-platen in de portefeuille, maar de laatste 10 platen vind ik toch wel erg lekker. Het verschil tussen 4.5* en 4* is soms ook een kwestie van waar ik op dat moment zin aan heb. Grootste ontdekkingen dit jaar: The Kinks(Something Else is ook supergaaf) en Jackson C. Frank.

Sinds 2015 is er eigenlijk vrij weinig veranderd. Bepaalde albums(Arzachel, Gris-Gris en In C bijv) moet ik nodig weer eens beluisteren en ik heb wat meer jazz en folk in de lijst gezet.

Misschien nog een extra tagronde ter reminder? Er mogen nog wel wat lijstjes bij...

We zitten nu op 51 lijstjes als ik goed geteld heb (10 sinds ik de vorige update gedaan heb). Vorig jaar zaten we na één week op ruim 40 lijstjes. Gemiddeld genomen doen er 'slechts' zo'n 65 à 70 deelnemers mee met de 60s-editie. Toch een iets minder gewild decennium.

Overigens onderschrijf ik zeker dat er nog lijstjes bij mogen, hoor. Tot nu toe alleen geen tijd gehad (genomen) om wat albums langs te lopen om enthousiastelingen te taggen.

Ah, ik dacht 'er zijn pas 2 pagina's, dus da's niet veel'. Maar zo te lezen valt dat wel mee. En inmiddels zitten we ook op pagina 3.

Het is een top 23 geworden. Ik heb afgelopen jaar 3 sixtiesalbums een rating gegeven van 4* of hoger, vandaar. Ik heb geen zin te beginnen zoeken naar nog 2 albums om een top 25 te maken. Desnoods laat je mijn laatste 3 niet meetellen.

Je wordt door mij getagd, omdat ik jou ergens tegenkwam bij een of meerdere populaire albums uit de jaren '60. Dit topic is gestart om gezamenlijk tot de beste albums van de jaren '60 te komen. Iedere gebruiker, waaronder jij, is vrij om een toplijst (max. top 30) aan te leveren. Zoals je kunt zien hebben tientallen mensen dit momenteel al gedaan. Je opmerking over de rangorde is voor mij heel begrijpelijk, want hoe kun je nu zeggen dat een bepaald album voor jou "het beste" is? En vervolgens dan de albums in de "goede" volgorde zetten...
Ik wil me er verder niet mee bemoeien, maar chevy93 heeft wel om een nummering verzocht.

Enkele eigenaardigheden/toelichting:
- enige uitzondering: compilaties van latere datum, maar met hoofdzakelijk 60-ties materiaal doen gewoon mee; Pech ook wel voor the doors; ultieme 60-ties band wiens LA Woman ('71) toch echt veel beter is dan het debuut
- Mijn manier van exploreren van de pophistorie is eerst trachten de (voor mij) beste titel van de interessante act te bemachtigen en geheel te doorgronden en dan weer verder naar de volgende act. Dit verklaart de afwezigheid van the Rolling stones hier, terwijl die in mijn totaallijst met 'Exile on mainstreet' op nummer 9 staat. Hetzelfde met the Beach boys die ik ideaal gecompileerd acht met hun 'In concert' uit '73. M.a.w. liever een innige band met minder albums dan een losse band met alles; er is zoveel...
