Ik weet het niet meer uit mijn hoofd, maar volgens mij is dit
de beste notering in deze wedstrijd van een album uit de 00's ooit.

Jammer van Ultravox. Stond op 6 bij mij, maar ja...

De nummer 1 van divart.

Tot spijt van wie het benijdt in tegenstelling tot andere grensgevallen
toch voldoende new wave bevonden door de gemiddelde stemmer.

03. Simple Minds - Sister Feelings Call (70)



De nummer 1 van Aqula, Chameleon Day, lebowksi en Premonition.

De kloof tussen de top 3 en de rest is behoorlijk.
Als dit album van de simpele geesten zo hoog eindigt,
dan lijkt de winnaar van de maand maart al vast te liggen.

02. The Cure - The Head on the Door (86)



De nummer 1 van bone machine en sebas.

Maar liefst 10 nominaties (op 18 deelnemers).
Zelfs het meest poppy album van Robert Smith bekoort de liefhebber.

01. Magazine - Real Life (91)



De nummer 1 van herman.

Slechts één maal bovenaan dus.
Maar met 11 nominaties mag je de terechte winnaar zijn.

Nou, we kunnen het in de maand maart anders nog best op een mooie clash laten aankomen. De Gouden Droom is dan nog niet zeker van een gouden plak.

En overigens Dazz.....

Zo'n beetje voor het eerst mijn Top 5 ook in zijn geheel in de Top 10 en dat noemt dazzler dan verrassingen (Throbbing Gristle, Tuxedomoon).

Tja, dat waren we echt niet gewoon ...

De grootste verrassing is misschien toch de 3de plaats van Simple Minds.
Het album staat op de site normaal wat in de schaduw van zijn broertje.

Maar tegen 4 nummer 1 nominaties kan niemand op. Terecht dus.

Leuk dat Magazine op 1 staat.
