The rocky horror show) en was heel goed bevriend met Queen's Freddie Mercury. De Queenzanger produceerde de volgende single en het bijhorende album samen met Roy Thomas Baker. Ook producer van diverse Queenalbums. Vaudeville/ragtime.....hebben we nog niet gehad in de lijst.

Op 94 Peter Straker. De volgende band werd in 1976 opgericht door de al enige tijd in Engeland wonende Amerikaanse slagwerker Stewart Copeland. Hij had daarvoor in de progessieve rockband Curved Air gespeeld. Aangezien hij iets met nieuwe stromingen wilde doen, was hij op zoek naar andere musici met dezelfde insteek en stuitte op bassist Sting, die weer een jazzachtergrond had. Henry Padovani kwam in beeld als gitarist, maar werd uiteindelijk vervangen door Andy Summers ( ex Soft Machine.) De frisse insteek met new wave, ska en punk, viel op en kwam dit jaar tot de eerste singles. Maar in 1979 brak de band feitelijk echt door. De band bestond uiteindelijk niet heel lang.

Op 94 Peter Straker. De volgende band werd in 1976 opgericht door de al enige tijd in Engeland wonende Amerikaanse slagwerker Stewart Copeland. Hij had daarvoor in de progessieve rockband Curved Air gespeeld. Aangezien hij iets met nieuwe stromingen wilde doen, was hij op zoek naar andere musici met dezelfde insteek en stuitte op bassist Sting, die weer een jazzachtergrond had. Henry Padovani kwam in beeld als gitarist, maar werd uiteindelijk vervangen door Andy Summers ( ex Soft Machine.) De frisse insteek met new wave, ska en punk, viel op en kwam dit jaar tot de eerste singles. Maar in 1979 brak de band feitelijk echt door. De band bestond uiteindelijk niet heel lang.
