Finale tijd! Vandaag of morgen plaats ik alles voor en om die finale.

DE FINALE

Eindelijk zijn we zo ver. Aan de ene kant heb ik het gevoel dat het een meer diverse finale is, mede doordat er meer dames meedoen en omdat er meer "nieuwe" nummers in de finale staan. Aan de andere kant staan er ook wel weer veel artiesten met meerdere song in deze finale(Otis, Curtis, Bill en Marvin).

Hoe het werkt?
Zet de 30 soulsongs op volgorde en stuur die volgorde PER PM naar mij. Plaats ze dus niet hier. Dan houd ik de scores bij (nr1 krijgt 30pnt, nr 2 krijgt er 29, etc) en plaats na de deadline per positie de uitslag.

En natuurlijk gaan we met de lijst ook hier door: That's Soul!! Ladder Uitslagen Topic

Om dit topic de aankomende maand nog wat levend te houden vind ik het altijd wel leuk om nog met elkaar van gedachten te wisselen over deze editie.

A Song for You voor het eerst niet in de finale. Jammer hoor. Dan zijn er nu nog zes nummers over die iedere editie de finale gehaald hebben.

Ik zal later in de week nog eens (uitgebreid) mijn licht laten schijnen op deze finalelijst.

Eerste wat in mij opkomt is niet zozeer over de finale lijst of over de opzet van de rondes van het spel...maar is eerder dat ik denk ik liever een opzet zou zien in de trant van "De Zwarte Lijst" zoals we die bij Radio 5 kenden en daarom ook Soul uit de titel van het topic zou willen weghalen.

Het is sowieso al niet altijd even gemakkelijk om een genre label op een nummer te plakken, voor sommige nummers is dat wel duidelijk maar dat geldt niet voor alle nummers. Daarnaast interpreteert iedereen dat ook weer net anders. Dat zien we al terug in de nominaties en hoe die door iedere user weer net anders geïnterpreteerd werden...waarbij sommige users zich daar bij het stemmen niets van aantrokken (onder het motto, het nummer is toegelaten dus ik laat het genre los en beoordeel het nummer of ik het goed vind of niet) terwijl andere users daar een iets striktere opvatting over hadden en daardoor bepaalde nummers in dit topic lager waardeerden dan dat ze bijv in het MuMeLadder topic zouden doen.

Maar misschien zien anderen dat weer als 2 aparte topics, kan ook....maar gezien het geringe aantal deelnemers (en ik denk dat je ook een beperkt aantal deelnemers hebt bij alleen een Blues, Reggae of HipHop lijst) zou ik denk ik liever 1 iets breder opgezet topic zien die tot een eindlijst leidt a la de al aangehaalde Zwarte Lijst van Radio 5.
