Naar aanleiding van het Soul songs KO topic ben ik toch weer gaan denken aan een 4e Editie van de That's Soul Ladder. Een topic dat dus al eerder gedaan is, maar teveel onderhevig was aan impopulariteit. Als het aantal deelnemers wat meer omhoog getrokken kan worden vind ik het wel weer interessant om dit te organiseren.

Om de tijdsbesteding voor mezelf zoveel mogelijk te reguleren wil ik dezelfde opzet gebruiken als Editie 3 met gespreide inbreng van de nummers uit de vorige editie.

Het idee is het ladder-principe, maar dan even anders. Vanaf Editie 1 hebben we altijd een top600 gemaakt en dat zal nu ook weer zijn. Editie 1 werd gewonnen door Sam Cooke, Editie 2 door Marvin Gaye en Editie 3 weer door Sam Cooke.

Voor alle duidelijkheid: ik heb geen haast (heb ook geen tijd voor haast) en wil misschien eerst maar eens de animo inventariseren. Daarnaast moeten we natuurlijk met z'n allen nog 400 nieuwe nummers nomineren.

Normaal gesproken had ik dat graag gedaan, maar door privé-omstandigheden ben ik bang dat voorlopig mij daarvoor de tijd ontbreekt.
