Dit was mijn lijst. Valt me op dat nog best veel mensen verzamelaars in de lijst hebben, daar begin ik niet aan. EP's eigenlijk ook niet dus ook geen Pixies bij mij.

Dit was m'n top 15, zoals ik al bij het indienen vermeldde een mix van nostalgie en latere ontdekkingen. Als ik op 31-12-1987 deze lijst had gemaakt dan had de top 5 zeer waarschijnlijk bestaan uit de huidige nummers 4, 2, 14, 9, 12 (in die volgorde), ook aangezien ik denk dat ik nummers 5, 6, 10 pas een jaar later leerde kennen (de albums dus, niet de eerste single) en (ook de albums) 7,8,15 pas behoorlijk later.

Nee, ik zou eigenlijk een 2de account moeten aanmaken voor niet Hip Hop-zaken en lijstjes... Ik vind mijn geliefde genre niet te vergelijken met welk album dan ook, ookal vind ik Dead Can Dance kwalitatief gezien beter... Ik houd me gewoon strikt aan het genre dat ik zo aanbid! Er zijn zoveel meer goede albums uit 1987. Als ik door de lijstjes heen blader zou ik ook daar makkelijk een lijstje van kunnen maken... Keuzes, JM, dat is waar het leven om draait!

Dit kost jouw handenvol metalcredits, hoor!

Ik verlies door mijn beoogklepte metalogen duidelijk aansluiting met de rest, maar godzijdank toch nog één (metaalloze) match. Gelukkig wel met dan ook meteen het beste album van 1987, hands down. En die heeft ook gewonnen van die overrated naamgenoten van mij, dubbel winst!
De longlist van zaaf wordt daarbij in stijl en fraai afgesloten, ook al had dat album minstens 140 plekken hoger mogen/moeten eindigen.

Deze keer was het een haastklusje. En dat heb ik geweten, want in de lijst van ZAP! zie ik dat ik naast Whiplash - Ticket to Mayhem ook Malice - License to Kill vergeten was. Stom stom stom, die had ook nog in mijn Top 15 gepropt moeten worden. Maar dat niet alleen, hij had ook Wild Dogs - Reign of Terror in zijn lijst: aaarrgghh! Hoe kan ik die vergeten zijn!?!? Die zou zeker in mijn Top 5 hebben gestaan. Sjongejonge, 1987 moet overnieuw zaaf!

Oja, silly me. Ik zat iets te lang in de "only the lonely metalmodus". Aangepast!

Ik heb een bredere blik maar wel 2 metalalbums in mijn lijstje en die ontbreken dan weer bij jou. Dan kan ik er ook niks meer aan doen.

Oei, die ene is een hele vette keuze en had ook minimaal in mijn longlist moeten staan: ge-wel-dig schijfje! Maar ja: ik had niet aan EP's gedacht (sowieso vind ik het wat discutabel om die in dit spelletje op te nemen) én there's just too much brilliant metal. Misschien zijn we wat deze serial killerfans betreft voor het jaar 1993 dan great minds think alike?
