Ik had ter voorbereiding op deze GH eens goed in het oeuvre van Jarre willen duiken, maar dat is helaas niet gelukt. Met slechts drie beluisterde albums heb ik in deze ronde weinig toe te voegen, want de meeste favorieten staan al in de startlijst. Maar in de volgende rondes haak ik zeker aan.

Fijne en originele editie
Nog een aantal toffe ontdekkingen gedaan en moet sommige albums nodig (her)waarderen.
Zeker Chronologie (1993) vond ik over de gehele lijn goed, misschien wel zijn beste album, maar ik moet er nog wel wat (vooral latere albums).

Even rustig de finale teruggelezen. Niek, bedankt voor je enthousiaste presentatie en mooie verhalen!

Ik schuif hopelijk in de finale aan. Heb in voorbereiding hierop braaf een flink aantal Jarre-albums al de revue laten passeren de laatste paar maanden - wetend dat het sowieso lastiger is om pakweg een Equinoxe 3 tegen een Magnetic Fields 2 af te zetten dan een lijstje van een gangbare band met gangbare liedjes - maar alsnog, in alle eerlijkheid, elk afzonderlijk nummer dat er wat uitspringt, staat al in de startlijst.

Is er nog nooit een Portishead GH geweest Gretz? Ik heb m'n naam toevallig net opgeschreven, maar misschien pak ik daarna de handschoen wel op (evt. i.c.m. solowerk). Een Miles Davis en/ of John Coltrane GH is ook leuk. Mits je wat luistertijd over hebt

Wellicht dat ik binnenkort wel zin heb om een Coltrane/Davis GH te organiseren.

Idd nog nooit. Enige noemenswaardige succes van Portishead is in een Thema-GH (One Hit Wonders of the 90s), waar Glory Box de eerste plaats behaalde.

Robert Palmer is hier nog nooit gepasseerd, terwijl hij toch vaak de hitlijsten heeft weten te halen, ook in samenwerking met anderen.

Ik wil ook een achter mijn naam hebben, dus ik zet mezelf weer op de lijst.
