Glass Animals is niet van die topppositie af te krijgen! Wie weet wetrn The Juan Maclean, Arsenal of Meg Myers volgende week door te stoten?

Venetian Snares heeft deze keer zijn gekte en chaos van de breakbeats gecombineerd met daadwerkelijk een liedje, maar wel een met een nogal dubieuze tekst. Vond hem eerst nogal tegenvallen maar ik ben hem steeds leuker gaan vinden!

The Future Sound of London is een grote naam uit de jaren '90 electronica die blijkbaar nog steeds erg mooie muziek maakt!

Clipping. heeft hun tweede notering met hun combinatie van hiphop en harde elektronische beats.

Sonic Youth is nog altijd niet echt een favoriete band maar Thurston Moore komt nu met een single die heel erg aan Sonic Youth (waar Thurston deel van uitmaakte) doet denken maar me toch erg bevalt. Erg fijn rocklplaatje.

Wauw Susanne Sundfør – Fade Away die gaat binnenkomen Aroentje !!!

Aroentje, heb je ook Chasing Kites al gehoord van iamamiwhoami? Ik vind haar nummers het vaak net niet helemaal hebben, maar deze gaat bij mij nog wel binnen komen denk ik. Staat nu zelfs op 1 in de singles top 1000 over 2014 van RateYourMusic.com.

Ze brengt trouwens wel absurd veel uit. Alweer 7 singles dit jaar.

Tijdens jouw plaspauze ga ik er even lekker voor zitten. Heerlijk nummer. Sowieso heel veel moois in de lijst, no. 2 is ook zeker erg mooi.

Volgens mij is deze week door het Europese Hof besloten dat we onbeperkt linkjes mogen maken naar bijvoorbeeld Youtube, als het maar in ongewijzigde staat blijft.
Hierbij dan 8 nieuwe linkjes, er is weer een aantal geweldige nieuwe singles uitgebracht. Het meest geïmponeerd door de nieuwe van de Foo Fighters maar ik mag net zo graag luisteren naar de nieuwe van Big K.R.I.T. Als het maar goed is.

Simple Minds verdienden na enig aanhoren ook een mooie notering en dat is natuurlijk niet zo gemakkelijk tussen (ook weer indrukwekkende) nieuwe singles van Royal Blood en de Inspiral Carpets. Helemaal nieuw voor mij zijn dan Susanne Sundfor en Pacific Horrific, waar ik deze week verder aan ga wennen

- TOPS: een bandje dat al een paar jaar hele mooie ingetogen liedjes maakt, soort introverte versie van Haerts. Deze doet me denken aan Berlin's Take My Breath Away op de een of andere manier.
- Wand: single van een van de beste gitaarplaten van dit jaar, zo niet de beste. Moet je zeker horen als je Tame Impala e.d. leuk vind.
- Mike Mago: lichtvoetig, maar retecatchy houseplaatje met een jaren '90 vibe
- David Bowie: nog niet echt uit, maar toch alvast opgenomen. Klinkt als Bowie ten tijde van 1. Outside.
- Belle & Sebastian: veel elektronischer, veel dansbaar en vooral veel leuker dan het veel te brave laatste album
- The Charlatans: mooie single voor het goede doel, dacht ik. Typisch Charlatans met dat heerlijke orgel.
