Terecht dat ABBA de eindlijst heeft gehaald, pure (Euro)pop op zijn best, het hoeft niet alleen rock te zijn, ik heb een soulalbum op nr. 1 en 3 reggae-albums (die verder weinigen kennen) in mijn lijst.
Het debuut van The Alan Parsons Project staat gelukkig ook in de eindlijst, dat niveau hebben ze nooit meer gehaald.

Bunny en Gregory waren in de jaren 70 (mede door Oor) best bekend, tja die 3e laten wij vooral door die albumhoes maar snel voorbij gaan

1976. Het jaar met de dunnere spoeling, volgens mijzelf en kennelijk volgens velen... nou, dat zal dan wel wat meer matches op die spaarzame toppers opleveren?

Na nummer 10 was nou-ja-deze-is-wel-aardig het hoogst haalbare. Wat een parallel universumgebeuren...

Nou, terwijl we '76 nog een waardige fade-out gunnen, is het ein-de-lijk tijd voor

Stuurt u allen een geweldige album top 20 (of desnoods ietsje minder hoewel het met niet al te veel moeite toch voor een ieder mogelijk moet zijn uit die enorme stapel toffe 1977-platen een twintigtal allerbeste op een rijtje te zetten, waarmee ik niet wil zeggen dat een top 10 een brevet van onvermogen is, maar het zou toch jammer zijn dat van een geweldige plaat een paar terechte nominaties ontbreken)

Kortom: hier met die lijsten en voor 13 oktober 22 uur een beetje!

Lijst zo goed als af, maar ik moet 'm nog even doorlopen om te kijken of ik niets vergeten ben. Zal me trouwens benieuwen of mijn nummer 1 weer zo laag staat.

Het beste jaar tot nu toe!

Een groot slagveld, spelden

Goed om toch nog in een aantal lijstjes het gelijknamige album van Warren Zevon tegen te komen. Blijft toch een schitterende plaat. Iedere keer vraag ik me af ''is ie echt nog zo goed?''; en aan het einde van iedere draaibeurt knik ik een aantal minuten bevestigend.

En nu 1977. Nog lang niet alles gehoord van wat ik wilde horen uit '76 en dan beginnen met zo'n overgangsjaar. Gaat lastig worden. Alweer. Dat zal ook niet snel stoppen, vrees ik.

Zeker, prachtalbum! Wat een afsluiter ook.
En over twee weken heeft hij nog een hele mooie.

Ik heb zowaar mijn lijstje voor 1977 ingeleverd. Inderdaad veel goede platen en bij mij van alles wat: rock, pop, funk & soul. Typisch 1977. Toch hoop ik wel dat er rock zal zijn en niet te laag. Anders maken de dieren wel wat lawaai, zelfs op de rustigste momenten. Een beetje funktelepathie op straat kan ook geen kwaad.

Jij voert de spanning wel op.
