1982: na een mislukte staatsgreep door sergeants Rambokus en Hawker tegen Bouterse worden zij 'op de vlucht' neergeschoten en later in het jaar worden de decembermoorden gepleegd in Suriname. De Falklandoorlog wakkert aan. Bettine Vriesekoop wordt Europees kampioen tafeltennis, Jannes van der Wal wereldkampioen dammen, Italië wint WK voetbal en Hinault de Tour. Opvallende overlijdensgevallen: Leonid Bjeznjev, Romy Schneider, Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Gilles Villeneuve.

Mooie tekst bij de nummer 1 zaaf. Ik kan me ook nog wel herinneren dat Borland overleed, al had ik toen nog geen idee van zijn muziek - laat staan dat hij ook regelmatig heeft opgetreden in Leiden (o.a. in de WW, een kroeg waar ik nog best eens kom). Ik moet het album weer eens draaien, al haalde het ook met gemak mijn lijstje, dat er overigens zo uitzag:

Al gaat een album over iemand die naar de universiteit gaat nog hoger eindigen. Maar da's een hardcore punk-plaat, dus dat boeit jullie blijkbaar niet...

Die heb ik voor volgende week genoteerd staan.
Al de zoveelste keer dat een releasejaar op MuMe afwijkt van die op RYM, waar ik doorgaans kijk voor mijn lijsten. Jammer, en vreemd.

Hoe het ook zij, maakt mij niet uit of het 81 of 82 is, maar de ergernis zit hem er meer in dat MuMe en RYM soms niet corresponderen.

Klopt dat was destijds met dat song vh jaar topic ook zo'n gedoe.
