Pianoman Billy J brengt het tot een 38e plek. Tijd voor de grootste reggea artiest ooit. Ach wat moet je nog over de man vertellen. Een groot deel van de 70's was hij met zijn band aanwezig. Heeft in ieder geval één memorabele liveplaat gemaakt en een handvol studioalbums die nooit vergeten zullen worden. De door mij geplaatste song komt van het album Kaya en komt ook voor op de zeer succesvolle compilatie Legend, die in de 80's verscheen en ongetwijfeld een nieuw publiek heeft aangetrokken. Op 11 mei 1981 stierf hij veel te jong op 36 jarige leeftijd.

Keurige 23e plek voor Marley & The Wailers. Ik trap maar eens af deze Maandag met een klassiekertje uit het dancegenre. Een dame die geboren werd als Yvette Marie Stevens en feitelijk ontdekt werd door Stevie Wonder. Zij zingt enige tijd in de band Rufus en deze door Nickolas Ashford en Valerie Simpson gecomponeerde song werd een wereldwijde hit. Leuk weetje: Een piepjonge Whitney Houston zingt hier in het achtergrondcoir. Diezelfde Whitney brengt het overigens later ook uit als single.
