Talking Heads pakken en zeer terechte en mooie tweede plaats!

We gaan door met het vijfde nummer van mijn nominatielijstje, tevens mijn favoriete soul/funk-nummer. Ik vraag me wel eens af of - in de tijd van digitale muziek - de onmogelijke naam dit nummer niet in de weg zit. Anyway, ik heb dit nummer eerder wel eens een orgie van funk genoemd en daar sta ik nog steeds achter. Die baslijn, de wah-wah-gitaar, maar bovenal die piano

Eigenlijk was Emerald Rush van Jon Hopkins aan de beurt, maar aangezien ik Hopkins hier al eens (vrij onsuccesvol) de revue heb laten passeren, kies ik speciaal voor eerste kerstdag voor mijn favoriete kerstnummer. Enjoy!
