Zoals ik al eerder aangaf heb ik 2 kunstgrepen toegepast; ten eerste 1 single per artiest en ten tweede een eerlijke verdeling qua aantal tussen de 3 jaren. Dat zorgde meteen wel voor een dilemma, mijn nummer 1 van 1963 en nummer 2 van 1964 beide Beatles, maar welke kies ik? Uiteindelijk is het de nummer 2 van 64 geworden.

02 volgens mij ben ik de enige tot nog toe... heerlijk nummer en zeker sinds het gebruik in Ally MacBeal een echte favoriet
04 tactisch had ik misschien beter It's My Party kunnen doen, maar ja...
05 een (orgineel van) ander nummer van mijn avatar EP haalde de top 20, deze de top 50 nog. Door April March zowel in het frans als in het engels opgenomen, de engelse versie werd door Tarantino dan weer gebruikt in z'n film Death Proof
09 ook deze heb ik nog nergens gezien
10 Twinkle ken ik nog maar een jaar een 2, heerlijk nummer qua tekst helemaal passend bij Leader of the Pack of Tell Laura I Love Her. Please wait at the gate of heaven for me, Terry, snik.
12 ook bij mij ruimte voor de eerste mash-up ooit voor zover ik weet. Voor de 2 orginelen van de Rivingtons die ook beide mochten qua jaartal was echter geen plaats
13 het gebruikelijke Tracey Ullman orgineel komt in deze lijst van Marcie Blane. Bobby's Girl staat op Tracey's 1e album en ook het orgineel is niet verkeerd
19 toch nog ruimte voor een ontdekking in dit drukbezette trio jaren... Johnny Angel, wat een heerlijk nummer wat ik misschien wel eens eerder gehoord heb maar door deze lijst pas echt heb ontdekt

Mijn favorieten waren deze editie vooral buiten de top twintig te vinden. Gelukkig heb ik toch nog vier vakjes op mijn bingokaart weg kunnen strepen. zaaf, bedankt weer voor je moeite! Ennuh... begrijp ik goed dat jij Otis' versie van That's How Strong My Love Is mooier vindt dan het origineel van O.V. Wright?
