Kijk, daar was ik al even op aan het wachten. Fijn liedje hoor, maar deze finale had niet zo gehoeven van mij. Use Me is niet meer dan een middenmotor in het fantastische oeuvre van Bill Withers en bovendien hadden we Ain't No Sunshine en Harlem al. Bovenstaande redenatie volgend had ik hem iets eerder in deze finalepresentatie verwacht.

Nummer 29 t/m 30 - sterke songs, maar in dit deelnemersveld net even te licht.

De eerste van Bill Withers had ik al eerder verwacht. Het vult mijn onderkant mooi op.
Met Pusherman verlies ik juist weer een top 10 notering.

Ook ik had eerder Ann Peebles verwacht. Maar tof dat zij het zo goed doet. Duimen voor een top tien plek! California Soul is ook een toffe track. Kwam door de sterke concurrentie niet verder dan plek 21, maar dat zegt alles over de concurrentie. Woman of the Ghetto had nog wel iets hoger gescoord, die vind ik net even beter.
