Ik vind de 2019 remix een stuk fijner, mede doordat de (fretless) bas en de drums (brushes) nu goed hoorbaar zijn en het spannender maken.

(Bijzonder hoog gewaardeerd hier, maar ik hoor het niet, beluister hem nu voor de 4de keer, ik vind het muzikaal doodsaai, bijna jazz, whiny, ik ga hem nog lager waarderen, de climax is het voor mij ook niet en dat extraatje met gelach hoeft al helemaal niet, maar daar geen aftrek meer voor)

(Ik vind het repeterend ritme wel heel lekker, dit had zeker potentie, Rothery op zijn best)

Een beetje een verloren liedje zo los achter Brave. Het hobbelt er een beetje achteraan terwijl het voor het afrondende verhaal vast nodig was.
Op zich mooi tokkel/slide werk van Rothery maar echt raken doet het me niet. Het doet me altijd een beetje denken aan Blackbird maar dan wel in Een iets mindere versie.

Ja, het afrondende verhaal. Het zal. Veel anticlimactischer dan dit worden de albumafsluiters niet bij Marillion (of moet ik nou alweer naar die hidden track van This Strange Engine wijzen?).

Blijft een prachtig nummer. Een mooi staartje ook om weer even wat rust te komen na het overweldigend emotionele The Great Escape. Misschien had het beter gewerkt als ze MA weg hadden gelaten. Ik zelf vond het altijd een bijzonder prettig nummer.
