Verder nog opvallend in de bubbling under: Ballad of the mighty I van Noel Gallagher staat bij maar liefst 5 mensen in de top-15, maar haalt toch maar 21 punten, niet genoeg dus voor een plekje bij de eerste 20.

Als je Mew intoetst op Google zie je ook alleen maar die kat. Ik weet het niet. Voor alles is een tijd en een plaats maar om je band nou Mew te noemen....

Mew is ook gewoon een Engels woord voor een bepaald, hoog geluid dat katten maken. En daar is de Pokémon naar vernoemd, die maakt ook zo'n geluid.

Maar het zou ook kunnen dat ze zich naar de Pokémon hebben vernoemd. Ik zie er niet zo'n probleem in.

Kendrick Lamar: i was best een leuke single, maar The Blacker the Berry is overweldigend. Kendrick is boos, wat resulteert in felle, geëngageerde, zeer overtuigende raps. Donkere hiphop. De productie en het refrein van reggaezanger Assassin zijn ook ijzersterk en maken het helemaal af.
The Four Owls: met de maskers en de artiestennaam moet je al snel denken aan De Kraaien, maar The Four Owls maken serieuze muziek, en zijn wél goede rappers. Bovendien de derde toffe DJ Premier-productie op rij.
Jae Fly: één van de grootste talenten uit de Amersfoortse rapscene, geproduceerd door een ander groot talent uit Amersfoort (Apollo)

Like you van School'94 heeft dan weer wat van The Jezabels vind ik, maar bij deze Zweden gaat het nét wat minder 'over the top'. Melancholisch, melodieus, en ook wel een beetje nostalgisch, deze sound.
