Poeh, er staan veel favorietjes tussen bij de eerste 50;

Muscle Museum, Moving, één van Moby's beste met Natural Blues, KLF's America..., Interpol, At The Drive In, Dandy Warlhols, mijn eigen Boxer Rebellion en het prachtige A Face in the Crowd.

Icehouse is leuk, en de beide Wolfmothertjes hebben de strijd verloren na een jarenlang gevecht tegen degradatie.

Het pijnlijke lijstje. Hoe is het mogelijk dat het leuke 90's- culthitje Pop van Sloy twaalfde van onderen wordt? Waarom doet Black Soul Choir van 16 Horsepower het zo goed en haalt de rest van het oeuvre de lijst vaak niet eens. Waarom staat One Armed Scissor hier en niet in de top 500 wat toch eigenlijk zou moeten.... Raadsels

Er is ook zoveel moois uit de lijst gevallen, ook in het kader van de variatie. Dance/electronic bijvoorbeeld: er zijn drie nummers van Aphex Twin uit de lijst gevallen, en daarnaast o.a. Jon Hopkins en John Talabot.

Hiphop is al helemaal kansloos als zelfs een toegankelijke hit als Rosa Parks (OutKast) het niet redt.

Muscle Museum hoogstgenoteerde uitvaller. Sowieso geen goed jaar voor Muse met 3 exits en veel zakkers, gelukkig maakt de finaleplaats in De Witte Trui veel goed.

Ik denk dat het mijn straf is voor het feit dat ik jullie heb verlaten.

Erg mooie finale, met eindelijk weer eens een iets andere top 10 dan voorgaande jaren. Life On Mars is natuurlijk een erg leuke verrassing. En ook met Heroes ben ik blij als winnaar, al is het slechts mijn nummer 26. Heroes is namelijk een nummer dat ik door de jaren heen meer ben gaan waarderen, waar ik het vroeger wat monotoon vond, valt nu de zorgvuldige opbouw en gelaagdheid op. Echter vond ik de bezetting dit jaar wel absurd sterk in de finale (Paranoid Android ging van 8 naar 17)

Dit jaar helaas niet zoveel mee kunnen stemmen, maar verwacht volgend jaar een stuk meer te stemmen.

Nog bedankt voor de wederom geweldige organisatie, El Ninjo en Onweerwolf. Ik denk dat "Heroes" dit jaar een waardige winnaar is, ik begin dat nummer steeds meer te waarderen en het is zeker mijn favoriet van Bowie!
