Nas - Illmatic 20th year anniversary

Wat een stink mix. Hier zit toch niemand op te wachten?

Het voegt inderdaad niks toe aan het origineel, maar ik ben wel benieuwd naar eventueel nieuw materiaal Nas zou het een en ander gaan doen met DJ Premier.

Zo'n beetje elke artiest ging iets doen met DJ Premier. Uiteindelijk komt er niks van terecht en worden al die samenwerkingsalbums urban legends i.p.v. bestaande albums. Bovendien heeft Nas Primo helemaal niet nodig.

Op 1 Maart kom het nieuwe album van Stropstrikkers uit genaamd Tabula Rasa.

Alhoewel hij blijkbaar wel een beetje makkelijk is 'gekopieerd' van deze albumcover.

Die afbeelding komt blijkbaar vaker terug. Weet niet wat de originele bron ervan is.

Hah, die twee albumcovers komen zelfs van albums waarvan de releasedata maar drie dagen uit elkaar liggen.

Die laatste link van je doet het niet trouwens. Je maakt het wel spannend voor me zo. Ik wil nu eigenlijk wel graag weten waar de afbeelding nou echt vandaan komt.

Het nieuwe album van Mobb Deep, The Infamous Mobb Deep hetende, moet op 1 april uitkomen. Het wordt een dubbelalbum met een nieuwe plaat, en een met een stuk of tien onuitgebrachte nummers uit het The Infamous-tijdperk waar ook Nas, Raekwon en Ghostface op te horen zullen zijn.

Tha Carter V van Lil' Wayne heeft een (nog niet helemaal officieel bevestigde) releasedatum van 5 mei.

Het nieuwe album van People Under the Stairs genaamd 12 Step Program staat gepland voor 6 mei.

The Cellar Door van The Underachievers voor 13 mei (is hun debuutalbum).

Het samenwerkingsalbum van Skyzoo en Torae genaamd Barrel Brothers moet in april uitkomen (Skyzoo's nieuwe solo-album ook ergens dit jaar).

Het nieuwe album van Blackalicious, Emoni, is verzet naar juni.

Als het goed is komt er ook een volledig tweede album van de heren. Maar goed, daar wordt al járen over gesproken. Masta Ace is overigens ook bezig met een album geproduceerd door Marco Polo, maar ik moet nog zien of dat uit gaat komen.

Ik hoorde ook van het album via Ali Dahesh, maar wist nou niet hoe betrouwbaar dat was. Als jij het zegt, geloof ik het toch meestal wel.

Idd, je hoort meteen dat t een Kno beat is, dat is gelukkig nog steeds een goed ding.
