Wat ik jammer vind , is dat de users die met name in één genre zitten grotendeels niet meedoen....even zwart/wit gezegd. Er zijn hier wel een aantal grotendeels soul liefhebbers die overigens wel meedoen.....

En grotendeels rock/pop (en misschien nog een beetje folk) liefhebbers zijn er ook bij.

Het toffe van de jaren 70 vind ik juist die veelzijdigheid. Persoonlijk vind ik het de hoogtij dagen van de volwaardige soul(/funk) albums, totaal anders dan de Motown singles van de 60's, maar ook de nadagen van de jazz(fusion) waren nog interssant, Marley's reggae natuurlijk, de mooiste singer songwriter (/folk) albums en de start van de rare mix van ska, punk en new wave. En nog wat Afrobeat om het feest compleet te maken. Ik heb er weinig bewust van meegemaakt, maar de jaren 70 zijn het summum voor mij.

Zeker , dat is absoluut mooi .

De afgelopen jaren heb ik weinig nieuwe muziek ontdekt uit deze periode, dus het verschil met de inzending van een paar jaar terug is maar klein. Tago Mago, If You Saw Thro' My Eyes en Hejira zijn wel behoorlijk in waardering gestegen bij mij en ik vond het ook tijd om een keer op Heart of the Congos te stemmen.
