En ook dit jaar weer gebracht met het onvergetelijke vuur van zaaf!

Prachtig nummer ook van U2, maar kon niet in mijn top 20 omdat ik dan The Bangles eruit moest laten, en dat kreeg ik niet over mijn hart.

En RIP Ric Ocasek, mijn favoriete single van The Cars kwam in ’85 uit. Helaas niet in de top 115 geraakt

Maar sowieso was dit een superjaar op vlak van muziek, zoals ik eerder al zei, ik had nog veel meer liedjes punten willen geven!

Als je 'm afspeelt, kan je het beste naar die prachtige hoes van de LP staren. Dat is de sfeer die het oproept voor mij. De afbeelding daarop dan, niet het staren.

Volgend jaar moet jij maar gewoon alleen jouw lijstje insturen. Scheelt weer heel wat werk voor zaaf.

Helaas geen andere fans van 10.000 Maniacs of the Isleys hier, maar dat Smith zonder s op het einde nog vier andere stemmen kreeg valt weer mee.

Verder vermoed ik dat sommige stemmers er een potje van gemaakt hebben door vorig jaar wel en dit jaar niet op West End Girls te stemmen. Kan me moeilijk voorstellen dat ze de 1984-versie beter vinden. Of is de concurrentie in 1985 zoveel sterker?
