Uiteindelijk toch de overtuigend winnaar en ook de meeste nominaties (11 stuks).
Jack had altijd verkeerd verstaan als het over het Leger des Heils (Salvation Army) ging en dus werd het Seven Nation Army

Mooi drum intro van Meg en die wereldberoemde riff van Jack komt gewoon uit een semi akoestische gitaar die door een technisch trucje (pedaal) gewoon een octaaf lager klinkt.
The White Stripes speelde zonder bassist en als de muziek zo lekker is missen wij dat ook niet.
Die riff kwam trouwens gewoon tijdens een soundcheck op.
Jack White gebruikte bij voorkeur oude analoge opnameapparatuur en hierdoor krijg je die lekker ouderwetse bluesy garagerock sound en die stem van Jack is gewoonweg heerlijk, Meg bleef meppen en The White Stripes werden wereld beroemd.
