Gretz, Reapers van Muse haalde een 1e, 2e, 7e en 15e plaats en zou dus in de lijst moeten staan geloof ik.

ik deel om de zoveel tijd (zonder dat ik het zelf weet) een tiplijst op last.fm op het u welbekende adres.
veel relaxter dan dit. het 'sharen' is het enige wat belangrijke is voor mij, niet die rangschikking. niets voor mij uiteindelijk omdat ik dan soms alle mogelijke kandidaten voor de lijst herdraai puur om te weten wat er in mijn top moet komen...resultaat is tijdverlies en op een minder ongedwongen manier naar muziek luisteren. dan lijkt het bijna een verplichting, het tegenovergestelde wat muziek luisteren zou moeten zijn. en dan zwijg ik nog over het genot van een album luisteren van tijd tot tijd. wat door aan lijsten meedoet ook naar de achtergrond verdwijnt. ik vrees dat ik nog moeilijk te overhalen ben, het spijt me.

maar ik wil niemand afraden dit te doen. door vooral voort opportunist dat ik ben haal ik hier soms leuke plaatjes uit

Oudjes, met Stewart, Morrissey, Beck & Lenny Kravitz. Verder natuurlijk één van mijn favoriete hitparade tijgers van de afgelopen jaren: Frank Turner. Prachtige, hartverwarmende singles en een mooie stem.
Overigens heb ik Beck ook in jaren niet zo sterk gehoord.

Tja, wat moet ik nog kwijt over Rod Stewart, die inmiddels aan een 21e leven is begonnen? Eigen inspiratie en het lijkt er op dat hij met 70, na zijn vorige hoogvlieg album Time gewoon nog weer beter wordt dan wat hij heeft gebracht sinds eh............. Da ya think I'm sexy uit 1978 . Een enkel album daargelaten.

Het is voor de liefhebbers overigens een prachtige lijst om in z'n geheel af te luisteren, echt een opbeurende Top 30. Prima muziek in 2015!

Kate Boy vind ik best leuk, stevige synthpop, maar heeft m'n lijst nooit gehaald. Deze remix van Slow Magic is echter helemaal raak. Een beetje Flume-achtige remix, maar dan veel beter.

Lamb bracht vorig jaar het album Backspace Unwind uit, dat goed ontvangen werd, met de singles We Fall in Love en In Binary. Het jaren '90 triphop-duo kan het dus nog steeds, en hoe! Het album heb ik nog niet gehoord, dus What Makes Us Human is nieuw voor me, maar het heeft alle elementen voor een sterke Lamb-song. De fijne zang van Lou Rhodes, spannende elektronica gecombineerd met strijkers, een mysterieuze sfeer, en natuurlijk een sterke compositie. Prachtig!

Evan Caminiti is een nieuwe naam voor me. Collapse is duistere elektronica in het straatje van Lakker. Enerverende muziek.

Ook CFCF is een nieuwe naam. Ze komen met een soort ambient-folk. Heerlijk rustgevend en een erg mooi liedje.

Tot slot nog de HAYA Band, die eerder dit jaar al een nummer 1-hit in mijn lijst scoorde met het prachtige Crazy Horse. Chinese/Mongoolse folkmuziek met erg mooie vocalen. Crazy Horse had ook wat post-rock-achtigs en bouwde op naar een climax. Samsara is wat minder stevig, wat rustiger, maar heeft ook die ontzettend fijne sound.

Een nieuwe nummer 1 in de Eigenwijze 30. De nieuwe singles volgen elkaar snel op van Muse maar zijn allemaal erg goed. Na Psycho #2 en Dead inside #1 is nu Mercy ook op nummer 1 gekomen. Rock muziek met een paar heerlijke climaxen erin. De verbroken relatie van de Zanger Matthew Bellamy is ook hier de inspiratie geweest. Over jezelf verliezen en vatbaar worden voor de angsten en beïnvloeding van buiten jezelf.

21: Aeroplane komt met een feelgood discohouse-plaatje. Moeilijk om stil op te blijven zitten, gelukkig hoeft dat ook niet.
22: The New Division is wel iets voor liefhebbers van Haerts en M83. Lekkere jaren '80 synthpop. In dit topic ontdekt via DjFrankie, dus wel aardig om te zeggen dat er inmiddels ook al een nieuwe single is.
23: The Weeknd's Can't Feel My Face vond ik eerst niet zo speciaal, maar blijkt na een maandje draaien toch wel een groeiplaatje. Heerlijke dansplaat ook.
27: Tiga werkt samen met Boys Noize en komt met een ijzig lekkere electro-track zoals alleen hij die kan maken. Leuk ook de acidgeluidjes en drumroffels tussendoor.
30: The New Pornographers begin ik steeds steeds leuker te vinden. Dit doet me een beetje denken aan Veronica Falls, maar ook fans van Belle & Sebastian zouden hier wel iets mee moeten kunnen aanvangen.
32: Major Lazer's Lean On Me is hier nog steeds de hit, maar deze is ook alweer twee maanden oud en ook een heerlijke feestplaat. Wel wat plat in de stuiterstukken, maar bij ML kan ik dat wel hebben.
33: Ezra Furman komt hier met een heel aanstekelijk doo-wopliedje. Goede stem ook. Doet me een beetje denken aan Rufus Wainwright, maar dan gelukkig minder nasaal.
37: Amy Ray's Oyster and Pearl vond ik niet in de albumversie op YouTube, dus dan maar een liveversie. Mooi folknummer van een van de leden van de Indigo Girls.

- Mammút: De ene geweldige IJslandse band remixt de andere. Heerlijk sferisch resultaat
- No Devotion: Het uit de as van Lostprophets ontstane No Devotion heeft nog maar eens een leuke postpunk single uit
- Rolo Tomassi: Naar postrock neigende track die helemaal gedragen wordt door de zangstem. Geen geschreeuw, maar even krachtig.
- Creepoid: Leuke mix van grunge en shoegaze met lekker veel weerhaken
- Agent Fresco: Krachtigste song tot nu toe op het conto van deze IJslandse prog/pop/jazz/hardcore-helden. Nog een straffe voorloper van hun 2de album
- Childbirth: De meer punky band van de zangeres van Chastity Belt levert deze leuke punk/garage track
- Cities Aviv: Sterke pulserende track van de alternatieve rapper (Iets voor kemm???)
