Evenveel punten als de nummer 1, maar die heeft meer nominaties.
Toch wel een gaatje voor die 2 koplopers.
Verwacht en gekomen, maar liefst 4 keer een 10 voor dit nummer met een magische en veel geroemde opbouw.

De stem van jónsi lijkt meer als een instrument mee te werken naar een gigantische climax en die climax komt dan ook.
Perfect einde van een album en het zou ook een prima einde van deze top 10 geweest zijn, maar wij gaan nog een toetje krijgen.

yeah! fijn dat je veilig thuis bent rudi!

Het zat even niet mee, morgenvroeg de nummer 1, die is deze keer kennelijk moeilijk te raden

The Roots wordt t wat heel treurig is voor n nr 1..maarja

Nee hoor: Hurt.

Dat zou een hele mooie zijm!

Of The Music ??

Oh jemig, die hebben we natuurlijk ook nog.

Nou, dan weet ik het nu echt niet meer. Ben benieuwd welke het gaat worden!

Ben nooit echt fan geweest van Sigur Ros. Geen slechte band, maar gewoon sterk overroepen...

Nr 1 is denkelijk wel Hurt. Verder is de top 10 nogal voorspelbaar. Al heb ik met The Archive wel een goeie tip opgedaan. Kende ik niet. Hiphop, Vlaams en singer-songwriter maakte duidelijk geen kans.

Je hoopt altijd om je 10 nummers terug te zien, al is het nog beter om tips op te doen.

Zou jesus nog langskomen?

Mij kun je schrappen ben hem totaal vergeten......... had op 3 gestaan.

Die komt niet langs, die is er altijd.

De nummer 2 uit onze pre-historie wint in zijn nadagen dan toch nog een editie, misschien zong Cash in 2002 wel beter / mooier dan ooit.

American IV: The Man Comes Around was dus het 4e album America album wat Cash maakte met producer Rick Rubin.
Een jaar later zou Cash overlijden.
'Hurt,' is natuurlijk een cover van het Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor) lied.

Dit was de zoveelste keer dat Cash (of Rubin) een lied had genomen wat nu niet direct op het lijf van Cash leek geschreven.
Ze stripte het lied het lied helemaal en tja een parel blijft dan toch een parel.
De zin "crown of shit" moest gezien de christelijke achtergrond van Johny nog wel even gewijzigd worden in "crown of thorns".

Trent Reznor was diep onder de indruk toen hij de versie van Cash hoorde,: I pop the video in, and wow... Tears welling, silence, goose-bumps... Wow. [I felt like] I just lost my girlfriend, because that song isn't mine anymore..

Tja dan verdien je toch ook te winnen.

Daar stond de heilige, boven op de berg. 'Zulke grote hoogten' mompelde de oude man. Zijn knecht kwam eindelijk ook aangestrompeld. 'Dit is het bittere einde, Simon' klaagde hij, 'Ik kan niet meer, ik heb niet van die speciale behoeftes als jij!'
'Ach, hou op en bekijk het eens van de heldere kant. Kom kijken, zie je die reptielen daar? Dat lijken wel zeven legers.'
'Prachtig, moesten we daarvoor zo hoog klimmen, Simon?'
'Ik weet ik' sprak de oude man warrig. En tegen zichzelf: 'Hoe laat is het? Negen minuten voor één? Kom we gaan naar benee'.
