Dit topic is onderdeel van een breder spel waarin we gezamenlijk tot de ultieme albumlijst komen door eerst per decennium te kijken wat de beste albums zijn. Dit topic hoort dus bij de 90s. Voor meer informatie, zie het algemene topic.

Even de spelregels op een rijtje:
* Maak een genummerde toplijst van platen uit de jaren '00 (en plaats deze in dit topic). Je lijst moet minimaal een top 10 zijn en maximaal een top 30 (een langere lijst plaatsen mag, maar ik neem alleen de bovenste 30 mee). Alles tussen een top 10 en top 30 mag ook en het hoeft niet per se een rond getal te zijn.

* De puntentelling is per 2016 als volgt:
#1: 100 punten, #2: 90 punten (...) [-5] (...) #5: 75 punten (...) [-3] (...) #20: 30 punten (...) [-1] (...) #30: 20 punten

* De albums moeten óf hier op MusicMeter aangegeven staan als 2000-2009 (ongeacht het type album of het materiaal dat erop staat) óf uitsluitend(!) opnames bevatten die uit de jaren '00 stammen (naar eigen inzicht!).

* Ieder type album is toegestaan, dus ook EP’s, live-albums en verzamelaars.

* Noteren gaat als volgt:

Let op dat voor de vewerking in Excel de titel EXACT geschreven dient te worden zoals die op MusicMeter aangegeven is (Dus incl. woorden als The). Het beste is dus gewoon om het rechtstreeks van MusicMeter te kopiëren.

Ik merk dat ik inmiddels wel wat meer afstand van deze platen hebben, doordat het al minimaal 10 jaar geleden is dat ik ze heb ontdekt. Sommige topfavorieten van toen zijn toch wel behoorlijk weggezakt, terwijl andere gematigde favorieten van toen juist blijvertjes zijn gebleven. De laatste jaren heb ik iets meer naar singersongwriters geluisterd en daar plukken Seven Swans en I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning de vruchten van.
In totaal 1122 albums en scores bestemd in deze periode. Dat zijn er maar 12 meer dan 2 jaar geleden.

Lastig kiezen in m'n op 1 na meest bestemde decennium (2517 stemmen totaal, waarvan 1755 normale albums en scores). Vooral in de onderste regionen wat nieuwe albums t.o.v. de vorige editie, de afvallers staan ergens tussen plek 30-50 nu. Grootste stijger is Björk die van 27 naar 9 gaat, en de hoogste nieuwe binnenkomer is Portishead op 15.
