Wel een verrassende winnaar. Vind het eigenlijk niet eens het beste nummer van de Mama's en de Papa's uit 1965, laat staan het beste nummer overall.

paar tips dan die wat lager staan:

379: garagerock van een van de vele 60s bands die nooit tot een album kwam, maar wel een fantastische single uitbracht. Jaren later nog gecoverd door Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti op zijn doorbraakalbum.
392: misschien wel het mooiste door een man gezongen Franse nummer uit de jaren '60 (zie ook 196 die ik iets minder vind, maar blijkbaar wel 200 plekken hoger staat)
854: een soort knotsgekke psychrockbewerking van een Hep Stars-nummer (de eerdere band van Abba's Benny en Björn) door een controversiële producer uit de jaren '70.
953: Schotse band met rhythm&blues cover van ouder Marvin Gaye-nummer. In de jaren '70 nog eens over gedaan door The Who, maar deze versie is veel beter.

En voor de soulliefhebbers tip ik 161, zelden iemand zo hartverscheurend horen zingen.
Bijbehorende album heeft op MuMe maar 0 stemmen zie ik.

En gaan we in 1966 voor het eerst psychedelica in de top 20 krijgen? Ik droomde er vannacht nog van, wel te veel: over een vraagteken van bijna 13km hoog, over me vrij voelen maar wel gemist worden, over de vorm van dingen... Gelukkig waren de vibraties goed.

Ik hoop op echt bijzonder mooie soul in de top 20. Ook ik droomde erover, maar het voelde net alsof ik verdronk en er nog wat meer water op me werd gegooid.

Ik schakelde daarom over naar de folk, maar daar moest ik me juist vasthouden aan de droom!

Gelukkig ben ik gelovig en weet ik dat alleen God de waarheid kent.

Inderdaad erg mooi. Mijn favoriete door een vrouw gezongen Franse nummer uit '66 komt helaas stemmen te kort om de top 1000 te halen. klik

Leuke tips! Ik heb er 1 in mijn top 20.

Ik heb nooit zo'n klik met haar muziek op de een of andere manier, maar dit nummer heeft wel wat inderdaad. Kende het nog niet.

Wie kent Musikladen nog in mijn top 10, ook veel nederbeat erin Den Haag voorop, of wonen deze popkwissers toch in Delft e.o

De voorspelling voor 1966 (top 10) kan weer naar mij toegestuurd worden.

Ik hoop in ieder geval op wibro, EttaJamesBrown, jordidj1, johan de witt, 50tracks, Superbitch en west. Maar een ieder ander is meer dan welkom. Hoe meer zielen...

Trouwens, ja ik heb er wel eens gekeken. Veel lijsten met weinig aansprekende muziek voor mij en dat zal andersom niet anders zijn vrees ik gezien m'n score bij het top2000 topic.

Er staan wel mooie clips van Musikladen op youtube. 101% playback, ze doen vaak niet eens de moeite om de schijn op te houden. Geen microfoons, of drummers die achter het drumstel weglopen Heerlijk.

Maar iemand moet de gemeenschap toch uitleggen wat goede muziek is?

Voor mij geen Nuggets dit jaar en ook geen NL, hoewel ik uit de omgeving van Den Haag kom.
