Dit was het lijstje dat ik Zaaf wilde opsturen, maar door omstandigheden helaas niet is gelukt. Spijtig, want ik wilde graag meedoen met mijn geboortejaar: het laatste jaar van de trilogie “beste muziekjaren in de geschiedenis van de rockmuziek”. Al vind ik 1972 bij nadere beluistering en uitpluizen uiteindelijk toch nét een stukje minder indrukwekkend dan 1970 en 1971.
Al denk ik niet dat er aan de uiteindelijke Top 15 veel zou zijn veranderd. Integendeel: geen mallemoer.

Wat betreft die Top 15: ik had toch echt wel van jullie verwacht dat Nick Drake de grote concurrent zou worden voor de gedoodverfde winnaar. Maar dat vóór Nick zelfs ome Lou het op het nipperste nippertje wint van ome Neil vind ik nog opvallender.

Ik kan helaas pas vanaf 1978 mijn eerste lijst inleveren, maar ga vanaf dan zeker mee doen!

Mocht het enige troost zijn, het leidt er wel toe dat ik dat album eens ga checken.
