Zeker doen. Ze is niet de allerbeste zanger, noch de allergrootste gitaar-tokkel-virtuoos, maar haar muziek heeft daardoor iets heel puurs. Een working class hero uit de 50's.

Ik heb nog (minimaal) zes albums te beluisteren, mijn lijst volgt donderdagmiddag

Ik ben druk bezig met luisteren - zojuist dit kvlt-album gehoord - maar het aanbod van 1959 en 1960 is echt veel groter dan ik dacht: nog iets meer dan 30 albums op mijn lijstje. Nu aan het werken met Miles Davis, maar het swingt net te hard om echt te werken.

Ik heb 'm al opgestuurd met toepasselijk een oud Big Thief op de speakers

Ben reuzestappen aan het nemen om eindelijk te kreunen (al dan niet bij maanlicht)….ah..um..wat ik te zeggen had. Klein verlegen meisje dat ik ben

Ook mijn lijstje zit in zaaf's brievenbus. Eindelijk!

Opvallend vind ik het weinige aantal Britse albums in deze periode, op deze site ook maar 22 uit 1960 (tegenover 622 uit de VS en 771 in totaal).

ik snap de uitdrukking British Invasion inmiddels een stuk beter.

In mijn lijstje deze keer 9 albums van Amerikaanse makelij, 3 Braziliaanse parels en dan zijn er nog afvaardigingen uit Nederland, België en Japan.

met 22 lijstjes gaan we de sixties in... het zal erom spannen....

wat ik kan en wil verklappen: de 15 albums die de 100 puntengrens hebben overschreden vormen de top 15, de top 7 behaalde zelfs meer dan 200 punten. over de uitslover op 1 ga ik niks spoilen.

Het zal mij niet verbazen als de nr1 ook mijn nr1 =

Ik had een ander album van die vent in mijn top-4 moeten zetten. Geel-rood is mooier dan blauw, maar helaas kom ik daar nu pas achter.

Zal wel Eden Ahbez zijn die nummer 1. De gedoodverfde favoriet. Of zou Kid Baltan of Kimio Eto hebben gestunt?

Wijsheid komt met de jaren, ik bedoel ik ben al oud en heb die keuze wel gemaakt en als 2e van die toeteraar heb ik die opera er ook maar bij gedaan.
