Sterk album van Green Carnation, al is het songmateriaal niet allemaal even nieuw.
Zo had de laatste track, Black Sabbath’s Solitude er voor mij niet op hoeven te staan.
Op de tweede plaats Inlet van de Amerikaanse rock/metalband Hum waarin zwaar gitaarwerk prima gecombineerd wordt met de kleurloze zang.
King Buffalo was ik in de vorige jaargang vergeten, maar nu zeker niet.
Tot slot van de top 5: Lunatic Soul en Airbag die beide goede albums dit jaar hebben uitgebracht.
Ik sluit niet af zonder zaaf een schouderklopje te geven voor opnieuw al zijn werk.

Shit, da's waar ook... die kwam gewoon in hetzelfde jaar uit.

Boeiende Top 15 is 2020 geworden! Waar corona en wat meer luistertijd al niet toe leiden.
Zoals liefst negen zangeressen in de Top 15. De mannen worden weggevaagd. Hadden we door de lockdown ter compensatie behoefte aan bovengemiddeld veel auditief vrouwelijk gezelschap? En dan hadden Ome Broes en Ome Bob ook nog eens vervangen moeten worden (liefst voor De Kift en Slift, die opvallend weinig liefde krijgen hier), zodat nummers #16 en #17 het aantal zangeressen op liefst 11 van de 15 had gezet.

Dat ik mijn lijstje niet tijdig had gemaakt, maakt voor de totaallijst geen fluit uit, want geen enkel album van mijn Top 15 is meer dan 2x genoemd (Nee, dus ook Oranssi Pazuzu niet, simpelweg omdat die mijn Top 15 niet eens haalde). Behalve Lunatic Soul: die zou dan op het nippertje de Top 40 hebben gehaald. Ook niet om over naar huis te schrijven...
Evenzogoed een interessante lijst waar ik zeker een paar platen van ga luisteren.
