Mooi, gevarieerd jaar en sterke eindlijst. Dank je zaaf

Dank voor de presentatie, zaaf! Prima eindlijst, al had ik Cassandra Jenkins nog wel verwacht in de hogere regionen. Dit is sowieso mijn minst favoriete muziekjaar van dit decennium tot nu toe denk ik - niets dat een 4.5* scoort, en ik kan mijn top-10 ook niet volmaken met viersterrenplaten. Kan iemand me overigens vertellen waarom Lady Blackbird als Amerikaanse artiest zo populair in Nederland lijkt te zijn? Tussen het BNN-optreden en het feit dat ze op Musicmeter bijna even veel stemmen heeft als op RYM lijkt me dat hier een speciale band met ons land zou moeten zijn.

Een heerlijk muziekjaar. Dat was 2021. Met maar liefst twee fantastische King Buffalo's, hele fijne prog/metal/rock en mooie liedjes van Lord Huron, The War on Drugs, Arab Strap en Thomas Feiner, de laatste met een prachtig album dat weliswaar in een iets andere samenstelling wederom is uitgebracht. En met helaas... slechts één prettig post-punk album.
