1970 is samen met 1972 (en ook wel 1971) mijn favoriete muziekjaar, dus het was vooral schrappen, schrappen en nog meer schrappen. Een Top100 zou makkelijker geweest zijn. Uiteindelijk koos ik een beetje tactisch voor de wat meer bekende titels, maar dan weer niet zó bekend dat ik overlap blijk te hebben met de uiteindelijke Top 5. Ook leuke platen, zeker, maar mijn hart gaat meer uit naar hard. Of (acid)folk(prog)(rock).

Die maakt volgend jaar nog een kansje. 1971 is trouwens mijn favoriete muziekjaar ooit, echt waanzin hoeveel classics dat jaar zijn uitgekomen!

Dat is raar. RYM heeft het over release op 1-11-1970, Wikipedia (en Discogs) vermeldt 5-3-1971. Daar zitten liefst vier maanden tussen! Is het collectief digitaal geheugen dan zó slecht dat zelfs de releasedatum van een destijds volkomen ondergesneeuwd, maar inmiddels klassiek geworden plaat niet nauwkeuriger kan worden bepaald?
Maar...ik vermoed de fout te zien: ze hebben op RYM de opnamedag en -maand bij release i.p.v. bij recording gezet. Ik vond het ook al raar dat Nick hier niet minstens in de Top 3 was beland.

Volgens de commentaren daar gaat het om de promo’s die al in november 1970 werden uitgedeeld. Op zich staat dan alles goed op RYM, alleen moeten ze de 1971-release de primary release maken. Maar er zit een bug in het systeem van RYM dat ze niet kunnen aanpassen welke release de primary is.

EDIT: Toch niet helemaal, want er staat helemaal niet bij dat het om een promo gaat. Er is maanden geleden een correctie ingediend, maar daar is nog niks mee gedaan. Opmerkelijk slordig van RYM.
