Enfin, laat ik dan ook maar ongevraagd mijn voorwerk hier zien. Ook al was ik te laat om koren van het andere koren te scheiden om op tijd een Top 15 in te leveren. Bij de Jordy's (de Grammy Awards van Musicmeter) zitten we ondertussen eveneens aan het gezegende jaar 1970. De shortlists zijn bekend, nu kan er per categorie één stem worden uitgebracht op je favoriete platen, nummers, en 'overig' (artiest van het jaar, beste nieuwkomer, mooiste hoes). Wie wordt de plaat van het jaar, beste rocksong, beste soul/funk/R&B-album, beste anderstalige plaat, artiest van het jaar 1970 etc. etc.? Jij beslist!

The Doors back to basic album, na het 'frivole' The Soft Parade. Met Morrison in de band is het nooit rustig - dronken, stoned, provocerend, vechtend… En dus afgeblazen tours en veroordelingen. Op deze plaat werd de frustratie wat van zich afgespeeld.
