Bij mij op 10, net onder de gewenste inhoud van de brievenbus van herman.

Ik heb 5 keer Aretha bij de beste 36, deze staat op 33 als a-kant en op 7 als b-kant (met een nog sterkere a-kant).

Hier vind ik de b-kant See-Saw eigenlijk ook beter dan de a-kant.

De versie van Dionne vind ik ook prima overigens.

Zo, verrassend. Hopelijk is dat een voorbode voor de rest van de top 10.

The Band bubbelt hier ook onder. Mooie muziek, maar ik heb er geen echte klik mee.


Het is inderdaad een gouwe ouwe, heeft ook op 1 gestaan in de top 40 destijds. Met Hey Jude het nummer uit de lijst dat ik het langste ken denk ik. Maar blijkbaar kun je hem ook prima gemist hebben.

Heerlijk nummer van Jimi en zeker ook van Dusty. Van allebei hun beste nummer wat mij betreft.

Die andere Otis op 2, deze op 14. Herman van Veen heeft Suus voor altijd verpest met z’n pepermuntjes.

Het is dat Herman in dat jaar al beter heeft...

De einduitslag. Zowel jordidj1 als johan de witt hebben 17 punten gehaald en hadden 2 nummers op de juiste positie voorspeld. Ik heb de reglementen er op nageslagen en dan wint degene die de meeste nummers in de top 20 heeft. Daardoor wint johan de witt deze editie (9 om acht).

Lijstje verstuurd: uiteraard veel Engelsen en Amerikanen, maar ook 3 keer Frankrijk, 2 keer Brazilië, 1 keer Portugal en 1 keer een Nederlands duet.

Een top 20 is ingediend en waar het albumaanbod in rap tempo rijker wordt, blijft het met het singleformat toch wel wat schrapen. Maar liefst 6 vermeldingen komen (voornamelijk) voor rekening van de B-kant. Daaronder zit ook een nummer dat in de vertaling van Herman van Veen enige bekendheid geniet. Mag Herman zelf nog meedoen? Zijn vertaling van een legendarisch (maar naar mijn smaak toch niet zo heel bijzonder) Leonard Cohen-nummer doet het niet op eigen kracht, maar wederom... het B-kantje!

Wel opvallend inderdaad. RYM geeft aan dat de single in een aantal landen al in '69 uitkwam, maar 45cat heeft het bij diezelfde landen over 1970. In de Canadese charts komt ie ook pas in april '70 binnen.

Mooie lijst tot nu toe.

Jane Birkin had ik op 19. De anderen vielen bij mij buiten de top 20. Van Shocking Blue en Sly cs. had ik een andere single hoger dan deze, maar ook nog steeds buiten de top 20.

Twee schitterende nummers, nochtans slechts mijn nummer 26 (Cohen) en 33 (Stones). De concurrentie was moordend dit jaar.

De beste update tot nu toe!

4. Brigitte Bardot et Serge Gainsbourg - Bonnie and Clyde

Serge scoort zelfs nog hoger met een b-kant van een andere single (b-kant).

En natuurlijk het prachtige Pastorale. Samen met 'En Nou Ik' en 'Dracula' het beste Nederlandstalige nummer uit de jaren '60 wat mij betreft.

Ik ben ook geen prog-liefhebber, maar King Crimson kan ik goed hebben. Het eerste album is prachtig en dit een van de mooie nummers (al staan er niet zoveel op). Wel iets dat ik de laatste jaren nauwelijks nog draai, daarom bij mij niet zo hoog.

Leuk nummer van Led Zeppelin en een echte topper van de Velvet Underground. Dit is het gitaargeluid waar zoveel bands (Modern Lovers, Galaxie 500, Feelies, etc. etc. op hebben voortgeborduurd).

Ah dat is inderdaad het nummer van Top Of the Pops, maar is dat niet de 90s cover van Goldbug?

Mijn nummer 13 De albumversies zouden nog wat hoger hebben gestaan.

Da's ook mijn 'probleem' met het nummer en trouwens ook bij Street Fightin' Man van de Rolling Stones. Fantastische riff, maar daar blijft het dan ook bij.

Mag hoor, ik luister er met plezier naar. Is toch mijn meest gedraaide band.

En briljante hoes

Mijn nummer 16 (a-kant) en 18 (b-kant, maar ook a-kant van een andere single). Geweldige plaat met vooral een briljante a-kant waaronder deze 2 singles. Het hele album weer eens beluisterd ook, was nog beter dan ik me herinnerde, al blijft Funhouse mijn favoriete Stooges-album. Maar qua singles wint deze het wel.
